The exhibition brings together works by Herbert De Colle, Hannes Ribarits and Maruša Sagadin. All three artists address phenomena of pop culture, questions of representation and public and media space. Maruša Sagadin explores the entanglement of Gender, Language and moder architecture. Her installations and objects deliberately function both in interior and exterior space, feature humour and exaggeration, and are often amended by performance. In his sculptures and installations Herbert De Colle scrutinizes the volatile relations and intersections in popculture, particularly by employing the symbols and signs used in its context. Conflating photography, painting, collage and quotes from TV series in his allusive installations, Hannes Ribarits tackles motifs like the drifter in unfulfilled search for meaning, referencing and discarding pop cultural moments.
