As an extension of her edition for Memphis, Sarah Decristoforo is showing a new work as part of the Memphis Light Box Extra series. A spy mirror foil adorns the light box on the space’s exterior facade. The words INHALEEXHALE appear and disappear in the reflective surface. This message brings the unconscious process of breathing to the fore. On the one hand as a commentary on the road being traveled, on the other hand as a fragile, depressing comment on the pandemic.
