Barbara Juch, born in Klagenfurt in 1988, lives in Vienna. She studied English literature in Vienna and as a Fulbright scholarship holder in New York, as well as a Master in Critical Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Juch works as an author and artist in mostly interdisciplinary and collaborative contexts. In 2017 she and Laura Nitsch received the Cathrin Pichler Prize for their filmic work Elements of a Landscape. She recently worked with director Claudia Bossard on an adaptation of The Great Gatsby’s novel for the Schauspielhaus Graz. In summer 2020, her poetry debut BARBARA was published by Verlagshaus Berlin.
Born in Germany and raised in Mexico, Lara Konrad is the author of “Mother, We All Have been Lonely and Lovely Places,” (published by Gato Negro, 2018/2020). Her writing is a crossover of genres and can be read in literary publications like NYTyrant and Civilization, to newspapers like WELT, ZEIT Online, Das Magazin. She’s represented by Galerie Norbert Arns, Cologne.
