We live vicariously through other people, we look for resonance, we know that loneliness will hit us also in togetherness. In the exhibition “Party Particles”, Isabella Auer and Clara Wildberger deal with the seemingly incompatible aspects between the nature of human existence and the world. „Party Particles” humorously analyzes the eternal dilemma of human beings in their quest for meaning, examines the immanent urge for interpersonal relationship, and juxtaposes the other to the surreal self. A search for meaning in the footsteps of Kanye West and Albert Camus.
Clara Wildberger is an artistic photographer who lives and works in Graz and Vienna. Beside she is also active for the ProgrammFORUM of the Forum Stadtpark Graz. In her photographic work she addresses diversity in culture and contemporary life with regard to the Arab world and her own environment.
Isabella Auer studies time-based media at the University of Art in Linz, where she also lives and works. During the time working together with the Spanish artist collective Hungry Castle she discovered her fondness for garish animated gifs and pixel explosions. Her work ranges from videos and animations to interactive installations, often with a focus on pop culture.
